Born on August 29, 1632; John Locke was considered one of the most influencial people among many who were in the joining of the Declaration of Independance. As a great philosopher to many, the ideas of the Declaration of Independance was built upon the basis of John Locke's ideas. Thomas Jefferson who was most influenced by John Locke helped write the Declaration of Independance.
The Declaration of Independance was written in thought of the people, in which the People had the right to say in what happens in the Government. I quote, "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
John Locke's views on the government were fully based on the peoples views. Such as the taxation of government. Although he believed that to uphold a governmental structure, is very costly, it must be out of the peoples choices wether to give and donate instead of the government just taking without any consent.
