Although it brings pride and joy, this can also cause disturbances to neighboring countries.

Many countries are in a state of national pride and loyalty. For one instance, Saddam Hussein and Iraq. The thought of a greater country, undermining others is the basis of nationalism. This "nationalism" caused havok among Iraq and the U.S. From 9/11 to recent terrorist bombings. The issue? Nationalism brought forth a smaller country to think better of another. To show pride, power, and loyalty; many citizens of Iraq pledged themselves to a rise of a better country, which lead to the Ultimate sacrifice: Suicide Bombing.

Many have seen that nationalism can be the worst issue of a country. However, nationalism brings saftey to the citizens. As China's population grows, military strength and personnel have risen. Becoming the rise of a new era, China's pride grows drastically. The acceptance of death to save millions from oncoming death and horrible issues, nationalism supplies the loyalty and will for these men. If not for the men who accepted nationalism and and have a sense of loyalty, who would be defending our countries?

From time to time, a countries greatest source of power comes from the people. As you see, many are willing to give their life inorder to bring their country to a higher power, to see their country in the light of glory. In many ways than one, the issue of nationalism as a great fuel source, or as a fuel source to cause devastation is at hand.
